On the occasion of the founding of the Jazz Institute Berlin, the Society of Friends of the Academy of Music "Hanns Eisler" Berlin e.V., in conjunction with the Berlin recording label "one-world-music", has produced a double CD entitled:
Jazz-Institut Berlin - Roots
"This double CD combines recordings of students from the former jazz departments of the Academy of Music "Hanns Eisler" Berlin and the University of the Arts Berlin. The CD shows the artistic roots which form the Jazz Institute Berlin. Alongside student recordings, renowned artists such as Esther Kaiser and Lisa Bassenge are represented on the CD."
